01 / About

I am:

Carmen Sanchez.
Human magpie, memory collector and continuous explorer.

I record the world around me—not only what I see, but how I feel and remember it. I love experimenting with media and materials, looking at their capacity for storytelling. The work moves through analogue photography, montage, installation, handmade ceramic tile, scanography and other forms.
