01 / About
I am:
Carmen Sanchez.
Human magpie, memory collector and continuous explorer.
I record the world around me—not only what I see, but how I feel and remember it. I love experimenting with media and materials, looking at their capacity for storytelling. The work moves through analogue photography, montage, installation, handmade ceramic tile, scanography and other forms.

02 / Material notes
What the
image becomes
Film grain. Layered prints.
Cobalt seams. Scanner light.
Pumares holds family and place in assembled photographs. American Textures reads recurring surfaces. Cobalt rebuilds a film image by hand. Diffractive Flora lets flowers shift under the scanner.
